Sometimes all that stress with your blog software gets you venturing out on the web just to relax - perhaps to watch some YouTube vids or listen to music.

So while I was strolling around, I all of a sudden stumbled accross looptracks.net - an interactive music video. This means: you define how that video looks like, what music is being played, what special effects are to be used, etc. - nothing serious, just pure fun. Requires Macromedia Flahs in your browser though.

I think I needed that. And perhaps tomorrow a big hammer for Serendipity - but that's another story...

Every now and again there comes along a game that I like - truly simple in the game plan, difficult to play nevertheless, yet totally addictive. Heed this warning: do not try out this game at work - you probably won't stop!

The game in question is Pendulumcea, a flash game you can play online, for example while waiting for that all important email (which you then of course never read, as you try to get further on in the game...)

The idea is to move a little mech as far as you can across a field of spikes. That's essentially it - no enemies that shoot at you, nothing you have to blast to hell, no sex, no crime, no rock-and-roll - yet a catchy little sound loop playing in the background nevertheless.
